Set in the heart of Casco Viejo, Panama City’s historic district, the American Trade Hotel blends old-world elegance with contemporary luxury. For this iconic hotel, Hecho was entrusted with designing and building custom furniture for its timeless charm while integrating modern craftsmanship and sustainable materials. The pool area, envisioned and designed by Hildegard Vásquez from Hache Uve, features custom metal furniture, merging durability with refined design to complement the hotel’s classic yet modern aesthetic.

The restaurant renovation was a showcase of artisanal excellence, with handcrafted dining chairs, cocktail tables, banquettes, and dinner tables—all made from a mix of premium woods, including teak from our MLR plantations. Advanced finishing techniques, such as burnt teak, were used to highlight the wood’s natural beauty, while the Conjuntos Causales lounge chair was custom-developed with a textile pattern selected by HV, adding a distinctive touch to the space.
